So yesterday was the first day of my Insanity workout. I am not doing the entire Insanity workout, just cardio abs this month, then the super cardio abs next month and the intense abs the third and final month. I will rotate the three as I go or at least that is the plan.I decided to only do the abs portion because my stomach and abdomen area are the targets for right now.
So the first day was well, for lack of a better word, intense. The workout is only 15 minutes long but it is a constant 15 minutes. I was able to do about 11 minutes total. I warn you, this insanity is not for people who are out of shape and are trying to get in shape. If that is your goal with this then you will probably need to do the entire program at least twice before you have that “beach body” or rock hard abs. If you are already in somewhat good shape then you should be okay but this will still be a challenge for you.
The exercises are simple yet challenging at the same time. I know that makes no sense but its true. The moves are meant and designed to be easy for anyone to do yet still give you the results needed. Sean T. is very good at coaching you through and encouraging as you go through the different manuevers. There are built-in water breaks, so you don’t have to pause the video to grab a swig of water.
Overall Day 1 went pretty well and I am actually excited and ready for day 2
