Turning Our House Into A Home
I somehow forgot to mention that we finally closed on our new home on May 24th. Yeah, I think it may have slipped my mind because we’ve been running around crazy ever since. Who knew being a homeowner was so much work and if you knew how come no one told me?
The moving in part was pretty easy but so tiring. We didn’t hire movers so we did it all ourselves. Since I just started my new job, the day after closing, I didn’t have any days to take off so we had to move all the big things like furniture in the morning and I then had to go to work that night. We’re still sifting through boxes but the majority of our things are unpacked and in place.
One of the first things that I’ve had to do that I dreaded was removing a chipmunk that somehow decided to drown in our pool. Gross!! I don’t do rodents no matter if they are dead or alive, caged or free. I’m not a rodent type person. It’s just not in me.
I may post some pictures later. I’m just so excited that our dream to be homeowners has finally come true. Now it’s time for us to turn this house into a home.
Peace
Sincere

Just thinking of the required packing to move out of my condo & into the house was exhausting enough! lol. Hey Jewell;
Thanks for the love! Now tell a friend to tell a friend about me!! lol Moving can be a lot of hard work but if you can skip paying some movers to do it then you’re already one step ahead! I’m going to put some pics up once we get everything in place and turn this house more into our home, right now we still have some painting to decide adn some new furniture that we’re waiting on them to deliver.
