Timeless Timepieces

If you don’t know, I’m a huge fan of fitted caps and watches. I’ve shared my love for fitted caps, particularly New Era,  in the past but never really showcased my love for nice arm clocks. Don’t let these rappers and such gas your head up to think that they have to be the most expensive or most recognized brand for you to fall in love with them. I’ve seen watches at Walmart and Target that I liked better than some Rolex’s or Breitling’s. Seriously.  I’ve noticed that some of the best places to find quality watches are at nice upscale-ish consignment shops. I’ve found some nice pieces for like $15-30 that would normally go for hundreds in the jewelry store and they are the real thing! I do live in a suburban area where the rich folks e.g. pro athletes, entertainers, CEO’s and such, take their unused and/or unwanted goods to the local goodwill or consignment shops so that may have a little something to do with the quality of my choices.  Where else can you find never worn before Brooks Brothers shirts with the original price tags still attached at Goodwill for like $5?

Anyway, here are a few of the watches that I’ve been lusting after for a little while. A couple of them I’ll be purchasing soon thanks to my new connection.

Okay so those were just a few of the Tag Heuer timepieces that have caught my eye as of late. There’s a bunch more but I would need to post almost the entire catalog! They always have beautiful watches!

I think  some timepieces are timeless * That didn’t make sense yet it did*. I am a huge fan of the leather band. I will not buy a watch unless it has a leather or some type of band. I’m not into the silver, platinum or gold band for some reason. If I do find a watch without a leather band, I will buy it and change out the band immediately. I have so many watches yet I tend to wear the same ones over and over. I’m like that with shoes and hats too so that’s not really a surprise.   Go figure…
