The other night I was completing one of those little reply forms for a family friend's wedding and I thought "hmmm. This would be so much easier if this was sent to me as an evite. That way we wouldn't waste time sending this and them waiting on a reply." if this wedding invite was actually sent as an e-vite would that be too impersonal? Or would it depend on the person? Or would that be just a sign of the changing times? I think it would depend on the person as to whether it is appropriate or not. Like for example, they know that we're going to come because that's all we discuss everytime we're around so to send us an e-vite would be okay & kind of cool. Now if were say, your distant family that you don't see that often then I would opt for mailing. I guess it would all depend on the individuals involved.
I'm sure someone has done this already. I've seen e-vites for birthday, anniversary and other get togethers so why not a wedding?
Just wondering…
