T.I. – Paper Trail Album Review

Paper Trail
By T.I.

Paper Trail is the 6th album from The Atlanta rapper. This past year has been steeped in controversy, making Paper Trail one of the most anticipated albums of the year. It is evident that he will take this controversy and construct it into this album.

56 Barz – This intro is true T.I.P. style. While throwing subliminal shots at Shawty Lo, he proclaims to be O Dog (Menace II Society) without the braids. He is on his typical ‘I got more swagger that you’ type style. “Somebody better tell them man/ they swag owe my swag everything”.

I’m Illy – Here he talks about how dope he is, how much money he has and how he doesn’t need to struggle for anything because he’s the illest. He also dispels rumors that he is bankrupt despite losing the bulk of his endorsements due to his trial.

Ready For Whatever – On this reflective beat, he tries to explain why he did what he did that led to his situation. He feels like people were out to get him and his friend dying just made those feelings stronger. A sort of ‘if you’ve never been in my situation you can’t understand me’ type of thing. He felt he had no choice when it came to protecting his family. This song gives you an insight as to why he did what he did.

On Top of the World (Featuring Ludacris & B.o.B.) – This is the first track officially released since Luda and T.I. squashed their beef. He here talks about how he’s gone from being wild and unruly to taking care of his family (sending his younger cousins to college) and becoming arguably the greatest of all time. Luda easily outshines T.I. on this track, not saying that Tip was a slouch but Ludacris was just better.

Live Your Life (Featuring Rihanna) – Honestly, some parts of this song I don’t like. The beat is crazy and T.I. has a crazy flow over it. But Rihanna on the hook would not have been my choice. In some cases she should be seen and not heard. This is one of those cases. Don’t get me wrong I think Rihanna is Beautiful and very talented, just not that great of a singer. He dedicates this track to the soldiers in Iraq as this song is an ode to living YOUR life not someone else’s life. You should be happy for what you have and not try to do something just because someone else does it. Pretty inspirational. Even though I don’t like Rihanna on the hook I caught myself singing it along with her.

Whatever You Like – On this single he explores his more sensitive side by singing about how he can give his partner whatever she likes. Whether it’s shopping sprees or ‘big boy rides or big boy ice’ he is willing to pamper her and make her feel like the queen that she is. He seems to be following the pattern of other successful rappers by singing. He doesn’t sound too bad, but let’s not try and make an entire album singing, okay? Okay.

No Matter What – The first single to be released during the anticipation of his trial. Here he talks of how he’s not through even though there are obstacles surrounding his daily existence. This song is to dispel the rumors that he is through and folded under the pressure.

My Life Your Entertainment (Featuring Usher) – They both seem to take shots at how they are portrayed in the media. Hence the title. It’s just funny how they feel that the media is intruding on them, which at times they do, but they also seem to want that attention. They explain their point of view well on this DJ Drama beat.

Porn Star – On this slow tempo bass heavy track he talks about leaving the bar with a young lady he met, taking her home and seeing if she wants to be a porn star. He brags about all the things he can and will do to her if she was to come home with him.

Swing Ya Rag (Featuring Swizz Beats) – The braggadocio is in full effect on this Swizz Beats track. Everything is all about Louis or Gucci merchandise. “If big money ain’t the topic/Homie I ain’t even talking”.

What’s up, What’s Hapnin – This being the most blatant attack on Shawty Lo, he raps about how haters can keep talking while he just gets bigger. He explains how they’re hate is actually making him bigger and better. In this continuous battle over who is really repping Bankhead (now known as Veterans Memorial) he talks about how the haters feel left out because he doesn’t mention them by name when shouting Bankhead out. The beat is very infectious but the lyrics seem like a petty attempt at picking on someone that is not really his competition to begin with. The song is cool but He’s too big with too many other issues to worry about what Shawty Lo has to say. With all that said, this is still my joint! I play it whenever I feel hated on.

Every chance I get – Here he talks about how he is going to ball out every chance he gets, take your broad and fuck your bitch (his words not mine). Another song about how he can take your girl and how he balls harder.

Swagga Like Us (Featuring Kanye West, Jay Z and Lil Wayne) – He definitely holds his own on Mr. West’s beat alongside these rap giants. To say he was outshined wouldn’t be a reach but he still did his thing. With the 4 of the best in the game on one track, this song will definitely go down in rap history as one of the greatest. Kanye is on his Autotune kick, while Jay Z is on his typical ‘I’m fresh’ style. I’m not sure what lil Wayne is on (probably a cup full of something purple) while T.I. ties it all together on the last verse.

Slide Show (Featuring John Legend) – A slow melodic track that leads you down memory lane to when he had nothing and how he had to hustle to get where he is now. A very inspirational song explaining how you should watch for the pitfalls while following your dreams. Look back at your life like a slide show and you will see how far you’ve come or how far you have to go.

You Ain’t Missing Nothing – This song seems to be a sort of song to himself when he goes to jail. Basically he talks of keeping your head up even though you’re locked up. “you only do 2 days/ the day you go in and the day you come out”. He talks of when time gets hard behind bars just put on this song to help get through.

Dead And Gone (Featuring Justin Timberlake) – On this tribute to Big Phil he murders this slow track (sounds like an extension of the previous track You ain’t Missing Nothing) while rapping about how his old gangsta persona is dead and gone and it’s a new beginning for him. He seems to have grown from both the situation of losing his best friend and the trial.

Overall this album is a solid contribution to my T.I. collection. This album is one of the best to be released in a long time. His time at home was well spent, giving him time to reflect on his life and separate the good from the bad. I give this album 4 out of a possible 5. Paper Trail is well worth the purchase.

When it Rains it Pours…

For like the past 2-3 weeks I have been sort of down in the dumps per se and the news I got on monday at work did not make things better. I guess when it rains it pours… Okay as we all know, unless you have been living under a rock or bunker somewhere, the country is in a recession. This really hit home for me earlier this week. As some of you may know I work for a major financial company that has been hit hard. When I say hard I mean hard! To the tune of a $75 BILLION debt with no collateral assets to use to bail us out. How the hell (excuse my language in this post, but I’m a little upset) can the 2nd largest company of it’s kind in the WORLD be in such debt and not have anyway of bailing itself out? That is crazy! Our stock is worth 90% less than it was a year ago. So the feds stepped in and loaned us $85 Billion over the next two years to keep the doors open and the company running. This comes with a price. In exchange for the loot, they now own 79.9% of the company and will be selling off portions with all proceeds going to pay back the loan. CEOs are being replaced left and right.
This actually could have been avoided, but we (when I say we I really mean they) wouldn’t accept any of the offers on the table thinking that the company was worth more than they were willing to give.
We (I mean we this time) really didn’t have any idea as to what was going on. I mean, there were little signs like not taking on new clients, closing of a division company wide, and different budget cuts but they are also doing construction upgrades company wide. $20 million worth in my building alone. I knew we weren’t doing as well as before but I didn’t know it was that bad.
So as the government steps in to help, some people are saying that they shouldn’t. “They got themselves into this mess, so they should get themselves out.” I can totally agree but you also have to think about the more than 127 million companies and people that we service worldwide on a daily basis. If they didn’t step in and bail us out, you think the economy is bad now imagine the millions of people all around the world that would be unemployed over let’s say a 3-4 month period. They had to act whether they wanted to or not. We had pretty much 24-48 hours to come up with %75 billion. It’s hard to come up with $100 at times let alone $75 billion!
Today we had a town hall meeting today where they explained some of what was going down and how to reassure our clients that we are going to be okay. This is a scary financial time right about now. If this doesn’t encourage you to go out and vote, and take a friend, than you gotta be crazy. I won’t tell you who to vote for, but I will say vote on the issues not so much the candidate. Put the right person in the white house this time. I support Barack Obama because I want a change and not more of the same. If you think John McCain has the answer than do you. Stand by your choice, right or wrong.
If any of you guys are like me, than I suggest you start filling those shoe boxes with loot for a rainy day and get your umbrellas and ponchos ready because it’s already drizzling and the dam is starting to show cracks.

Peace,
Sincere

PS: Video to accompany coming soon, just gotta take the time to sit and record.

Nelly – Brass Knuckles Album Review

Nelly – Brass Knuckles

This is the new album by Nelly titled Brass Knuckles. This album is actually pretty descent outing for the St. Louis bred rapper. Here’s my play by play. Take it for what you want.

The first cut off the album is a cut by the name of You Ain’t Him featuring Rick Ross. Without any fluff, he jumps right into the album with this bass heavy track about being that dude that people are trying to be.

The next track is Hold Up featuring T.I. and LL Cool J (Who Nelly is sure to become). Here he talks about how rappers want to be him (young, black and rich) and how you should think big, “your only goal is to buy out the mall. I go to buy me the mall…” Next T.I. blesses the song with his braggadocio about buying whatever he wants and doing whatever he likes. Uncle L is rapping as if Nelly was his ghostwriter. He seems Very uninspiring, sorry to my LL fans. He claims at one point to being the Blueprint.

After kicking it with T.I. and LL he decides to dip on over to the left coast and hook up with Snoop on L.A. A song about what else, L.A. The beat is very west coast as Snoop easily rides on the hook. Nate Dogg makes an appearance to make this an official tribute to the west coast.

Next he slows it down a bit with a mid tempo joint called A Long Night featuring Usher. He seems to be singing more than Usher is on this one while Usher’s hook sounds like more of a rap as he talks about how long of a night it will be. This is sure to be a lady’s pleaser with it’s seductive beat.

He follows that with another mid tempo track about relationship problems called Lie featuring the St. Lunatics. Here he raps/sings on this track, followed closely behind by Ali, Murphy Lee and Kyjuan about how people try to tear apart relationships with lies and he say/she say foolishness.

After the Lie is the first official single Party People featuring Polow Da Don and Fergie. This energetic track is just as the title suggests. For the party people. The beat is very upbeat and bass heavy as he raps/sings about getting the party started. Going back to his first album roots by using quick-rap (yes I made that word up). Even Fergie gets hers off on this track by matching Nelly’s quick-rap with her own. Definitely a club banger.

After getting the party started he hooks up with chuck D (yes, THE Chuck D of Public Enemy) on Self Esteem. A song about believing in yourself and having self worth in order to reach your goals and be that person that you can be. Talking about how he overcame adversity to be the person he is today. A very positive track for young people, and anyone for that matter, to hear and take to heart.

After uplifting you, he hits you with his single Body On Me featuring Akon and Ashanti. Here he talks about how much he wants to be there and take care of his woman.

His newest Nike Tribute song Stepped On My J’z features Jermaine Dupri and Ciara. Another tribute to a shoe style. This is similar to his earlier hit Air Force Ones (I still blame him for sending the price of Uptowns from $40 to $75). A nice beat with a catchy hook. You can’t go wrong with that; especially if you’re a Jordan Fanatic like me, (# 4’s and 6’s are my favorites). Even Ciara joins in by singing about her love for Jordan’s. ” I got me the black and pink patent leather with the gray matching with the skinny jeans off with the shades”.

After bragging about his exclusive shoes, he moves on to Let it Go (Lil Mama) featuring and Pharrell. Now this is a banger! He rides this Neptune beat to death. It may be a DMV (D.C. Maryland Virginia) bias but this beat by Pharrell is by far the best on the entire album. He actually steps his rap game up on this one. With opening lines like “ They call me Mr. Intellectual/ I keep a bunch of vegetables/ the carrots and the broccoli/ How the hell could you stop me.” Not lyricist of the year worthy but better than most of what is out now. This song is all about braggadocio and getting that guap (money). Here’s another gem, “my paint job so wet my license plate reads ‘pussy’”.

The next track is One and Only. Kind of similar to Dilemma from Nellyville minus Kelly Rowland. Here he is talking to the girl that he was with growing up that will always be his one and only love. He wants to be with her but of course, she is with someone else. I guess he just wanted to get that off his chest (been there done that).

On the next track Chill, featuring the St. Lunatics he raps about how you can either chill or get knocked out. Basically saying, don’t try them. “You really talking reckless right now/ and we know you ain’t built for that”. I see somebody has been listening to Get Rich or Die Tryin’ one too many times…

Next up is Who F**ks Wit Me Featuring Avery Storm. The track is crazy. The acoustic guitar rides smoothly over some heavy bass. On this one, he once again raps about being a baller and how he is “earning interest as I speak”. Basis of this song is that men lie, women lie but numbers don’t.

The final song on the album is Ucud Gedit (his spelling, not mine) featuring Gucci Mane and R. Kelly. Ummera… Honestly, he could have left this off the album. It sucks badly. Gucci Mane always sounds like he has a head cold and is stuffed up, while R. Kelly is the same as always.

Overall, this album is a good. In today’s market, it will not have the same success as his previous albums, but lyrically it is the same caliber if not better. It’s at least worth the download (legally, of course). I give it 3.5 out of a possible 5.

I Want To Work For Diddy Season 1 Episode 3 Recap

So this episodes starts with team Uptown (PoPrah and ‘nem) debating on who they will pick to join their team. Red suggests Mike, but Poprah thinks that OmaToni is a better pick because they can pimp her/him and she is an easy target.

The Red phones go off and tell them to pack their bags because they are headed to Los Angeles. First thing, Ditsy Boris forgets his phone charger and my crush Kendra feels bad and lends him hers. She is too nice to the forgettable fat boy.

Once they are settled Capricorn tells them that they are there to help Diddy with some things while he gets his star on the walk of fame. They are there to basically cater to Kim Porter and Him Mother Miss. Combs. Each team gets a person and will have to provide the hospitality suite, wardrobe AND get Diddy’s gift from them. Now don’t get me wrong but if my son or my child’s mother was getting something as special as a star on the walk of fame I would want to get that gift myself right? Why leave it to an assistant to get it? whatever.Anyway.

Now Uptown has to say who they pick as the new group member and they pick Laverne. As I said earlier, they picked her because they feel they can take advantage. Uptown gets Mama Combs, while Downtown gets Ms. Porter.

Poprah is already working her magic by electing Red as the team leader. They all seem to know that Poprah is setting him up but him. OmaToni sees right through her facade though.

Now Team Downtown is working with Boris taking over. He is actually getting things done. They are setting up the hospitality suite by doing a bunch of name dropping but it’s getting done nonetheless.

Omatoni and Red were lolly gagging in the store and of course Poprah is not happy because she’s not in charge. Uptown finally arrives at the suite and they are running around like crazy people trying to get the room set up when in walks mama Combs.. Uht oh! Luckily they have the stuff together.

Kim Porter comes in to meet downtown. She meets the crew and sends the girls down to check on the car and asks Boris and Mike to get her some ‘girly things’.. Are you serious? How is it that time of the month and you not have some in the stash? I mean they make them super small and everything.. Come on!

Back to team Uptown aka Poprah and nem. So Poprah is chopping it up with mama Combs and asks ” How do you like me to reference your son to you?” Without missing a step mama hits back with ” Oh I call him ‘Sean’. I’m quite sure you would have to call him ‘Mr. Combs’”. That’s the gotcha gotcha!!! Poprah’s face is like the funniest thing. Just that look of ‘I’ve just stuck my foot in my mouth and I can’t remove it’ look. She goes right back into questioning, and when mama Combs mentions that she wishes there was a southern restaurant around for breakfast she says ” I think we can make that happen”. How fool? You are in L.A. (Los Angeles) not LA (Louisiana)!

So we’re back with Downtown now. Kendra, Stefanie and Kim are waiting in the limo when the boys jump in with their nanny “Cheese”. True story. His name is “Cheese”, but the real question is why do these boys have a nanny in the first place? Anyway. Kim says that the girls are with Diddy, but she’s not sure. *sidebar: how do you not know where your kids are? Again why do they have a nanny? What does she do exactly?* So they call around to find out where they are.

Team Uptown takes Mama Combs out to find something to wear and she hates everything! While team downtown is helping Kim find a dress she sends Kendra and Stefanie to fins her some shoes. They find her some and when she gets to the shoe store she asks about the girls. Uht oh.. they never followed up on where the girls were! I think know that Kim knew where they were the whole time. Or at least lets hope for her sake. Kim decides not to do anything until they find her kids. Meanwhile Kendra’s battery is dying because she let forgetful Boris borrow it and he never gave it back.

OmaToni steps in and saves the day when she picks out an outfit for Mama Combs and of course Poprah is all in the mix like she did something. while this is going on Red and Suzanne are out to get Diddy a Crystal statue thingy from Kim.

Okay now Boris has me mad! He made my crush Kendra miss a call because he forgot his charger and being nice let him borrow it and couldn’t charge hers. They get a message on the red phone aka Bat phone telling her to check her messages. What call does she miss? Diddy’s!!! Yes and he was pissed!

Diddy calls Poprah to ask about his mom. She’s steady jaw jacking and kissing butt, so he promptly cuts her off and asks to speak to his mom and asks how they’re treating her and she says that they’re doing okay just not what she’s accustomed to. They say their goodbyes and she hands the phone back to Poprah. Poprah starts saying hello like he really wants to speak to her again and is talking to dead air.

Back with team downtown. The twins make an appearance and are stating to walk a little. The boys are in another suite throwing around a football. Why? Because they are Diddy’s Kids, That’s why. I’m still trying to figure out why Justin ran and hid under the table like Michael Jackson in ‘The American Dream: The Jackson 5 story’.

Boris and Mike go out to get Diddy a gift and stupid Mike is talking about getting Diddy an outfit. Are you serious? If they told you what to get rat pack type stuff, collectibles, memorabilia type stuff why would you get him a Biggie t- shirt and some jeans? Stupid! so Boris calls Kim’s assistant and she tells them again not to get no stinking clothes!

Now Poprah is trying to weasel her way out of the southern breakfast at a southern styled restaurant that she promised Mama Combs. Of course Mama Combs is not having that and promptly answers ‘no’ before she can even complete the sentence.

While both teams are out celebrating the success, or lack of, they receive messages to go pick up a package. while they are sitting there waiting, in walks Diddy. He talks about how competitive and hungry he is. He talks to them for like 5 minutes and kicks them out.

The next morning Mike has to wake Diddy’s kids AND cheese.. Wait and Cheese? These kids can’t even iron? If Cheese is the kids Nanny why is Mike doing the ironing and getting food? Anyway, one of the kids brings the wrong bag so Kendra and Stefanie have to go shopping for them.

Poprah is getting on Mama Combs’ nerves. It’s all in her face. It’s breakfast time and she does not have a southern breakfast ready. Plus Poprah touched her croissant with her bare hands.. Ewww!!! It’s 1 hour until the ceremony and her jewelry is not there.

Meanwhile back at team Downtown, they have 35 minutes to get everybody dressed and ready but they aren’t back with the clothes for the boys.
Team Uptown didn’t get security for Mama Combs and she is livid! Since they didn’t get it she has to go with Kim’s security because I guess the other team secured it for her.

Things at the ceremony go well, but it’s decision time! Kim and mama dish on how the teams were.
Kim:
Things they lacked organization and that they did a good job with the kids.
Mama:
The gift was a good idea. The fact that one point person instead of everyone all was great.

Team Poprah nem won the challenge and Boris blames his other teammates. during eliminations Boris says that Kendra held them back on this challenge and she quips back with Boris being weak. Mike thinks that Boris is also the weak link. Stefanie puts the blame on Kendra because her phone died (because of Boris). Looks like Boris and Kendra are going into the hot seat. Kendra pleads her case that at the end of the day she made it happen with Kim. Boris states that he is the one that made things happen. But Phil hits her with ‘but her phone was dead because you borrowed it’. He plays the ‘everyone is against me’, and throws them all under the bus! Allegedly Kendra wants to have sex with Mike and supposedly told Stefanie that she wants to have sex with Diddy. then he throws in that she’s a drunk. Wow!! If he doesn’t get sent home, they will never trust him ever again. Mike and Boris get into it and then he gets into with Kendra. How are you going to throw them under the bus like that and expect everything to be cool afterwards? So it’s decision time.. *cue the fake security guards* both get to stay! Both get to stay? What? So they both live another day, but I have a feeling that they will maybe throw a challenge just to get Boris out. the trust is gone. Until next week…

I Want To Work For Diddy Season 1 Episode 2 Recap

This season the groups are tasked to make a viral videos. He is trying to setup a new venture, diddy.com. they are tasked to make a viral video. PoPrah decides to take the talent position in this episode so that if they mess up it will be on the production and not her. Yet she still can run the show. The downtown team appoints Leverne as the lead of their team.

Poprah and uptown are throwing out ideas and Red doesn’t like any of them. They then leave for their spots.
As Leverne aka OmaToni is doing interviews they keep telling her to ‘Tranny it up’ while interviewing former assistants. She/he even asks Andre Harrell to lay down with her.. What the hell!!

Back to uptown. Poprah is all over Red while teaching him how to work the camera. They are not working well together at all! They are arguing and working while Breanna is sitting over there doing nothing.

While Team Downtown is interviewing O’neal McKnight  they come up with the the idea of ‘the applesauce bandit’ and they are off and running.

Team Uptown breaks the tripod on the camera and while they are arguing about it they miss a message on the red phone. Not good. They missed that a meeting was canceled so they went all the way there for nothing.

Team Downtown decides to make Boris the Applesauce bandit. while putting on the outfit he starts complaining about the wardrobe because he has to wear tights. Big Baby.

Team Uptown is getting sick of Red and his non camera working skills. They decide to make a back up vid of silliness such as Red getting his legs waxed Suzanne squirting water out of her nose, and Brianna pulling eyelashes. Stupid idea.

OmaToni is kind of feeling bad for the way Boris was treated. After seeing the stupidity that Team Downtown did, Boris decides to suck it up and don the suit.

Back to the other side. Poprah and Red are getting to the boiling point as they record their video.

During the shoot with team Downtown, Boris is constantly complaining and not cooperating. Basically getting on everybody’s nerves.

Poprah hits the streets to get people to do crazy things for their viral video. She is taking over.

While Team downtown is heading back to the next shot they realize that Mike forgets the phone. They start arguing about who is to go back and get it. does it matter? I know they better not send my crush Kendra back. I need to see her! And who do they send back? Kendra AND Stephanie. They get lost and call mike while he’s shooting to get directions. shouldn’t the driver know how to get there? OmaToni is getting pissed and is ready to start shooting! They get into it and he tells her to stop pouting.. Boris jumps in, after all his complaining, and gets the brunt end of OmaToni’s rage. During one of the outside shots, while chasing the applesauce bandit Omatoni trips on a piece of plastic but keeps it moving like a trooper! After the shot we see that she banged up her knee.

Team Uptown is back at the office to editing. Poprah takes over, calling everybody else incompetent, while the producer eats on the sideline.

During the ride back Stephanie and Kendra start asking each other questions on why they want to be there and what they want to do. Kendra calls her robotic, which she is. Now they don’t trust each other. whatever. This is a competition not friends camp.

Poprah is taking over and editing the video the best they know how.

Team Downtown’s applesauce bandit idea is taking shape and the video is pretty entertaining.

The videos are done and this time the fans get to choose who won. they chose the applesauce bandits (team downtown) as the winners at a 54%-46% margin.
Now Uptown has to once again throw someone to the wolves.

Team Downtown celebrates while uptown strategize on who goes up for elimination. They decide to gang up on Red and put him up, he then elects Brianna to go home.

“Greatest is something that’s earned, not given.” – Diddy

Red pleads his case by saying that he is a go getter and that’s what Diddy needs. Brianna puts on the waterworks to plead her case as to why she should still be here. Red tells the judges that they schemed to get his sent home and that Brianna failed as a producer. Exactly as it happened. So the judges come back and *cue the fake security guards* give their decision on who goes home and who stays. The next person to end their journey to work for Diddy is….. Brianna! Red survives another day throwing a monkey wrench into their plan. Because it’s only 3 of them and 5 on the other team. They must pick someone to come over to their side to even things out. Stay tuned next time to see what happens.

Making The Band Season 3 Episode 2 Recap

Okay so the Democratic convention is over and time for me to bet back to my Diddy updates.
This episode picks up where the last one left off with the crews preparing for tour and such. Diddy says that they only have 2 weeks lift to prepare and kicks things into overdrive.
The first group up is Danity Kane. They are doing a medley of stuff form 1st and 2nd album. they seem to be doing well at rehearsal, they are gelling and working together well.
Next up is everybody’s favorite white boy Donnie. He is so stiff and uncoordinated! Seems like his choreographer has a different idea. “We’re gold, we’re platinum”. Yeah right.
The guys (Day 26) are rehearsing in what looks like my walk in closet. No surprise that they are running/bumping into each other. We can tell that Brian is not the dancer in the group! Ms Boon Kat is all in their behinds because of their sloppiness. With only two weeks left they should be tighter than where they are.
Diddy is still on his ‘Diddy’s fit club’ kick. He actually gained 2 lbs. You supposed to be losing not gaining.
So In walks Diddy to judge the groups and see how far they are along. Here are the results:
Donnie – Looks lost and confused. Not to mention stiff and uncoordinated (did I already say that?). Things are not looking good for him. He has 10 days to make a miracle happen! Looking like a stiff white boy from Long Island that can’t dance. Diddy tells him to go get some “black friends” or do whatever he has to do.

Day 26 – Start off looking confused. Diddy goes hard on them from the jump! I think they are trying to hard to impress as opposed to just having fun and looking natural with it. He starts booing and heckling them during the performance to give them a taste of what would happen if they mess up and quit. Q looks like he was ready to cry. He tries to give them some advice on how to react after a mistake but I think it was lost in translation. they seem to be going backwards instead of forward.

Danity Kane – The ladies start off strong, but of course your girl Aubrey has to be all extra with it. Diddy still doesn’t think they are ready but they are the best to offer so far. “Don’t be a headliner by default.” He says that Aundrea and Aubrey are the 2 weakest links in the crew.
They all have work to do.

Donnie is down and depressed heading into rehearsal. His choreographer gives him a little pep talk and he seems to get his confidence level back up.
The guys are back with Laurie Ann and she tries her best to lift their spirits.
The Ladies are back in rehearsal and of course Aubrey doesn’t agree with anything Diddy has to say about their performance.

Dawn and Q discuss what happened with Diddy and the rehearsals. Q felt disrespected by the way Diddy talked to him. Dawn tries to explain to him where Diddy was coming from and that he wasn’t singling him out. Q decides to take his night off and rehearse alone. Good move. But what if you’re practing it wrong? wouldn’t you just do it onstage the same way? Just my observation.

Diddy’s breaking news!! “If your ass can go to the concerts, if your ass can go to the Kanye or Jay Z concert then your ass can go to the post office and register to vote!” True!!

D. Woods and Aubrey go out on the town to party it up and hit a couple red carpets to celebrate “all the wonderful things aubrey is doing.” Yeah. Okay.

Diddy brings the camp to TRL to announce the tour. everything is peachy until after the show. Diddy has this crazy look on his face. He starts to rip into Danity Kane and singles out Aubrey on how unhappy he is with her appearance and such. they get into a shouting match and she tries to bring in others to dispute what Diddy is thinking about her. Who do you think they are going to side with the boss or somebody else? Be real. He says that she is going in the wrong direction! You cannot over talk Diddy.. Don’t try. “I’m asking myself why do I have you here and I’m moving onto something else and I’ll get back to you on that. You may not be here and anybody else that wants to go with you can go too. Don’t get it twisted man, it gets dark and lonely trust me.” The room gets quiet and nobody else makes any kind of eye contact with Diddy. Wow.
After the big blowup Aubrey is back at the hotel (looking like a wet rat without her makeup and big hair) talking to D. Woods about how she’s tired of battling about her looks and such and feeling worn down. She contemplates moving on to somewhere else where they believe in her.

Another rehearsal in front of Diddy.. Here we go again.
Donnie – Getting better but still needs to loosen up some more.
Day 26 – A major improvement from the first time.
Danity Kane – The same as before. Aubrey went from Playboy bunnyish to looking homeless.

After the rehearsals Diddy and Aubrey have a little one on one time. She just lays it out there that she doesn’t want to be the ‘problem child’ anymore. He talks about how he just wants her to take advantage of the oppurtunity that he is giving her. Communication between them is horrible! I understand that you may not agree with the boss but you still have to respect that position.

This ends another episode. Stay tuned next week for Brian and Boom Kat’s fight and what happens with Q and Dawn…
