Are you for real?

Sometimes I see people do things or wear things and I say to myself ‘are you for real?’ This can’t be right, I must have taken that red pill instead of the blue one.
I’ve got to be stuck in the Matrix!! Now I know some people have their own style of dress and their own way of doing things but come on. Now I’m not hating on anyone. In fact I encourage people to do their own thing, pave their own way. But some people tend to go too far. They try to be so original that they just become weird. I’m sure someone out there won’t agree but hey, it is what it is. I remember when it was cool to be different. If everybody had the jacket in red, I would search all over until I found it in blue. Now it’s all about having what everyone else has yet you say you’re being original. ‘Are you for real?’ I like rims and shiny things just as much as the next person but when just one of your rims is worth more than your entire car or when you have thousand of dollars worth of jewelry on but you can’t pay your rent? ‘Are you for real?’ How about the ones with the Benz but living at home in their old room( with the same superman sheets). ‘Are you for real?’ Not to knock those of you that do this, but like I said (all together now) ‘Are you for real?’ Come on man, you gotta step it up. Another thing( I know I sound like the angry black man right now, but it is what it is) I can’t stand is when a man doesn’t take care of his child(ren). ‘Are you for real?’ How about When I see parents looking fresh to def but the child(ren) look like ragamuffins! ‘Are you for real?’ Go to Walmart or someplace and get your kids some nice( nice doesn’t always mean expensive) clothes and wash their face!! I can’t stand to see dirty kids. There are so many things I see on a daily that makes me want to just go back home and start the day all over again hoping for a different outcome. But it never happens. Oh well, I guess everyone has their own thing. It is what it is.
Peace and Blessings
Sincere

think back to your high school economics class. then think back to that movie “baby boy.” it’s all about GUNS AND BUTTER. our people have gotten caught up in having things and giving their kids what they never had and they have gone overboard….waaaay overboard….i mean bermuda triangle overboard. they are working their asses off to buy…well basically worthless bullshit. it’s sad to see really. if i had cash like that i’d be buying some land….”gonna tend the rabbits” and all that man….p/b…tara.star
